Starting the 2023 – 2024 school year, the Goshen County school district will reduce the school schedule to a four-day week. This will leave many working parents scrambling to find solutions for Fridays when children are not in school.
Planting Roots Preschool is always working to meet the needs of our communities.
THE PLANTING ROOTS DIGGING DEEPER PROGRAM
Planting Roots, a state certified facility in Fort Laramie, is expanding its curriculum to include an activity filled, educational Friday Day Camp for school-age children. We will explore subjects not normally covered by the regular public-school curriculum – experiential learning such as cooking, sewing, sports, self-defense, orienteering, horticulture, zoology, and more. We will also explore science and the arts.
WHEN:
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
There is a registration fee of $75.00 per student that will hold the child’s spot and cover all of there class supplies for the school year. Spaces are limited with a class size of no more than 12 children.
HOURS: 8:00am to 3:30pm
DAYS: All school year Fridays *** Public School Holidays will be no school days.
TUITION: $35.00 per Friday, payed in full before the first of each month. The monthly total will vary depending on how many school Fridays fall within the month. Classes are for registered students only with no drop ins.
