Mrs. Laura L. Curtsinger

Founder, Directer and Head Instructor of Planting Roots Preschool, Laura Curtsinger has spent many years teaching both children and adults. She taught for seven years as a Tae-kwon-do instructor, stewarding her young students on national and international competition trips and coaching them to bring home the Utah cup. Laura was also a lifeguard and swimming instructor covering the levels from Mom-Tots to ten year olds. Laura was the director of Colorado State Certified Path Home School’s Wilderness Program, and taught children orienteering skills and wilderness survival. Mrs. Curtsinger volunteered many hours in the preschool classroom and was an assistant teacher in a home schooling program. Having three children of her own, Laura has seen the positive impact a good preschool has on a child and their future. Laura lives in Fort Laramie, Wyoming with her family, where she serves as councilwoman and spearheads the Place to Play Restoring Parks Program.
