Planting Roots Preschool is dedicated to giving children the very best start in life. It is more important than ever for preschool aged children to be introduced to a variety of life tools and skills in order to succeed in their future education. Children must not only be academically ready to begin kindergarten, but have the ability to follow instruction, move smoothly in transition, treat other classmates with respect and courtesy, be able to respect authority and become self-motivated, confident individuals.
At this point in a young child’s life, it is paramount to have a safe place to explore not only their surroundings, but to learn who they are and their capabilities. At Planting Roots, in addition to meeting academic requirements, we take into consideration the whole child. Preschool aged children are challenged with learning to identify and cope with their emotions in an appropriate way. We are mindful to acknowledge and support the emotional adjustment of the child as they learn to interact with their peers.
Being able to play and work together with fellow classmates can be one of the most important things a young child can learn. Having positive socialization is crucial for a child to succeed. While imparting the long list of academic concepts that your child will need to start kindergarten at the top of their class, we also support individual, unique talents.
